Hot Stepper Productions presents the 5th anniversary Bump N’ Hustle event in the beautiful Tropicana room during Black History Month with very special guest singer /songwriter /dancer /fashion designer WUNMI.You saw her first as the famous braided Soul II Soul dancer showing the world the moves of the new soul vibes in her self designed clothes. Wunmi regularly sets the underground dance music scene alight with London style, Lagos culture and New York energy, she rocked the Nuyorican Soul party in Miami last March accompanied by her percussionists along with Stephanie Mills, Jocelyn Brown, Jody Watley, Roy Ayers, Kenny Lattimore, Bebe Winans, Louis Vega, and more!

Wunmi was chosen as an icon of London underground club culture when featured in Kiss FM London’s first advertising campaign and recently featured for her numerous talents in Paper magazine’s “50 Beautiful People” layout modeling her own clothes last March.

Wunmi’s Masters At Work produced tracks are the classic dance floor bomb “Tribute To Fela” and “Ekabo”. Her forthcoming collaboration with MAW will be performed at Bump N’ Hustle before being released in spring 2001! Wunmi’s recent “What A See” track was remixed by A Guy Called Gerald. Wunmi’s prodigious all around talent lead her to work with artists such as UK soul outfit Soul II Soul , jazzer Ornette Coleman, Vernon Reid and Roy Ayers. Wunmi will be featured in the Nuyorican Soul 2 album with her own full length to be produced this year.
