After a year and a half, we are proud to welcome back New York's Jerome Sydenham to Garage 416. Every time Jerome visits Garage 416 he dazzles the crowd with his diverse DJ sets and unique ability to consistently keep the dancefloor shaking!

DJ/producer Jerome Sydenham is the man behind the highly respected New York label Ibadan Records. Jerome works closely with house icons Kerri Chandler, Dennis Ferrer, and Joe Claussell releasing dancefloor favourites like "Ko-Ko" and "Je Ka Jo".
Born and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria, Jerome was educated in England before migrating to New York. Over five years at Atlantic and later East West, Jerome honed his business skills in a major label environment, lending A&R direction to such artists as En Vogue, Gerald Levert, Simply Red and Das EFX. His underground dance music interests continued to run in tangent with his commercial A&R work at East West as he largely succeeded in crossing dance over to the mainstream with albums by Ten City and Michael Watford. 2001 saw the release of his own full length collaboration with Kerri Chandler, "Saturday" and bears out Sydenham's talent as a producer.

Garage 416 regulars Blueprint and Moreno plus special guests Felix & Gani will also be on the decks rocking the party with their own funky flavour.

"There isn't really an Ibadan Sound" Jerome explains "Ibadan has a principle to make high quality music which covers all areas of electronic music, acoustic dance music, ultimately jazz funk, jazz and maybe even hip hop and R&B".
