15 years deep! We've had an unbelievable run of introducing new artists to Toronto, supporting local live and DJ talent and otherwise gathering the forces of Toronto's soulful music tribes over the years through our Bump N' Hustle, Garage 416 and Hot Stepper jams.

Remember that the first time anyone in Toronto attended shows by the following short list of artists, it was a Hot Stepper booking:
A-Trak, Amon Tobin, Bebel Gilberto, Caron Wheeler, DJ Chillfreeze, Cut Chemist, Danny Krivit, Dego, Dennis Ferrer, DJ Cam, DJ Food, DJ Spen, DJ Vadim, E-Man, Francois K, Gilles Peterson, Gwen McCrae, Heavyweight Art Installation, Herbaliser, Jerome Sydenham, Joe Claussell, Karizma, Kaskade, Killer Kela, Lady Alma, Mateo & Matos, Matthias Heilbronn, MKL, Monique Bingham, Nicky Siano, Neil Aline, Norman Jay, Peanut Butter Wolf, Peven Everett w/ Séance Divine, Rich Medina, Roots Manuva, Slam Mode, Taana Gardner, Timmy Regisford, United Future Organization, Wunmi

Of course our other events and great partnerships with the amazing community or promoters in this city blows the full list to encyclopedic proportions.

We rang up one of our all time favourite performers to join us in celebrating and she's down so the awesome Caron Wheeler, the voice of Soul II Soul will be dropping her killer classics and new joints at the event!

For those who don't know… UK born Jamaican raised Caron Wheeler cut her teeth dropping her soulful vocal touches in studio sessions for The Jam, Loose Ends, Erasure, P.I.L, Maxi Priest, Aswad, Elvis Costello and tons more and later gained worldwide recognition singing for Soul II Soul. Her leads on the songs "Keep on Movin'" and Grammy winner "Back to Life" were featured on Soul II Soul's smash LP - "Club Classics Volume 1" in 1989. In 1990 Caron put out her first solo debut "UK Blak" which featured the single "Living In The Light". Her second album "Beach of the War Goddess" in 1993 featured single "I Adore You". She's since collaborated with Biz Markie, Nas & DMX, Da Beatminerz, Erikah Badu , Meshell N'Degeocello and on Motown's Album Conception - A Musical Tribute to Stevie Wonder where she contributed an amazing version of "Another Star".

The legendary Bump N' Hustle DJ crew and the Garage 416 soulful/deep house blenders will rock the hottest new dance floor in town, 99 Sudbury warehouse style!

As a stroke of luck we've also got Simon Laws aka The Funky Ginger rocking DJ beats London style as well! Simon Laws actually co-wrote "Back II Life" and "Keep On Movin'" He's currently working with Soul II Soul on new material and has worked in the past with the likes of…Earth, Wind & Fire, Jazzmatazz, Ronnie Jordan, Brand New Heavies, D'influence and Chante Moore.

The genius Mix Motion visual system will transform the space with colour and depth.

Easily a party that will be remembered as a major highlight of 2010…don't sleep!
