who don't know
UK born Jamaican raised Caron Wheeler cut
her teeth dropping her soulful vocal touches in studio sessions
for The Jam, Loose Ends, Erasure, P.I.L, Maxi Priest, Aswad,
Elvis Costello and tons more and later gained worldwide recognition
singing for Soul II Soul. Her leads on the songs "Keep
on Movin'" and Grammy winner "Back to Life"
were featured on Soul II Soul's smash LP - "Club Classics
Volume 1" in 1989. In 1990 Caron put out her first solo debut
"UK Blak" which featured the single "Living
In The Light". Her second album "Beach of the War
Goddess" in 1993 featured single "I Adore You".
She's since collaborated with Biz Markie, Nas & DMX, Da
Beatminerz, Erikah Badu , Meshell N'Degeocello and on Motown's
Album Conception - A Musical Tribute to Stevie Wonder where she
contributed an amazing version of "Another Star".

As a stroke
of luck we've also got Simon Laws aka The
Funky Ginger rocking DJ beats London style as well! Simon
Laws actually co-wrote "Back II Life" and "Keep
On Movin'" He's currently working with Soul II Soul on new
material and has worked in the past with the likes of
Wind & Fire, Jazzmatazz, Ronnie Jordan, Brand New Heavies,
D'influence and Chante Moore.
