In 1971 at the age of 17 when most of us worry about zits and exams, New York's Nicky Siano was securing his place in the dance music hall of fame by opening the now legendary club called The Gallery. In doing so Nicky helped launch the careers of Grace Jones & Loleatta Holloway who each made their debut appearances on his stage. In 1977, he became the first DJ to produce a record and was hand picked by Steve Rubelle as one of the original DJ's for the now infamous Studio 54. After a hiatus from DJ'ing Nicky made his return playing at New York's Body & Soul to celebrate Larry Levan's birthday and he hasn't turned back since. Nicky is currently featured in Maestro, the documentary film chronicling the start of the dance music industry in New York.

Join us as we welcome this disco legend in his premier Toronto performance!
